Barcelona were held to a dramatic 4-4 draw by their guest Atletico Madrid in the Spanish King's Cup, in the first leg of the semi-final, on Tuesday evening, at the Olympic Stadium of Luis Companys.
The Catalan team entered the match in the worst possible way, as Julian Alvarez succeeded in breaking the net's virginity with an early goal, before the first minute was completed, and the Frenchman Antoine Griezmann struck on Barça's hot iron, scoring the second in the 6th minute, after a wonderful pass from Alvarez.

Barcelona began the return journey in the match starting from the 19th minute, which witnessed Pedri scoring the first goal, with an assist from his teammate Jules Kounde, before Pau Coparsi scored the second goal with a header after a corner kick played by Raphinha in the 21st minute.
From a new corner, Raphinha played a cross to the far post, for Inigo Martinez to translate it into a third goal in the 41st minute, and the first half ended with this goal.
After the break, Robert Lewandowski managed to score the fourth for Barça in the 74th minute, a few minutes after coming on as a substitute for the Spaniard Ferran Torres, but Marcos Llorente scored the third goal for Atletico about 6 minutes before the end of regular time.
In the extra time, Atletico managed to score the equalizer through Alexander Sorloth.
Thus, the decision of the qualifier for the final will be postponed to the second leg between the two teams at the Metropolitano, next April, knowing that the match will be open to all possibilities, with a relative advantage for the Rojiblancos due to playing the match in front of their fans.
