Arsenal fell at home and in front of their fans in the London derby against West Ham United, losing 1-0, in the 26th round of the English Premier League, to present an unexpected "gift" to leaders Liverpool.
Jarrod Bowen scored the only goal for West Ham in the 44th minute of the match that was held at the Emirates Stadium.
West Ham responded with this victory to consider the heavy loss at home to Arsenal 2-5 in the first round match.
As for Arsenal, they did not take advantage of the home and crowd advantage to achieve a fourth consecutive victory, and squandered a very valuable opportunity to approach the top of the standings and reduce the gap with Liverpool, the leader.
